The definitive book on all things Argus -- Cameras from the 1936 Argus A through twenty-first century digital cameras bearing the Argus logo. The products, people and places that made up all its corporate eras, including its pivotal role in World War II defense manufacturing.
The combined fruits of the labors of four people who have researched Argus history for over twenty years. From interviews with many former Argus employees, travels to places where Argus products were made, poring over documents in historical libraries and internet archives, compiling data on features of historical Argus cameras to better understand their evolution, and amassing some of the foremost collections of paper and artifacts, very few stones have been left unturned.
